Getting to know Jesus
If You do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ, please read this. You can change your eternal
destiny right now by what you choose. Jesus asks for all that you are, and in return He will give you all
that He is - eternal life, inner peace, and much, much more. Simply pray this prayer and mean it:
"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Wash me in your blood and make me clean. The blood that
purified me on your cross. I know that you love me, and I give you my life. I ask you to be my Lord, my
Savior and my God. Take control. I will obey your voice as long as I live. Holy Spirit, I ask you to
come now - fill me and create me with the likeness of Jesus so the world may see Him in my life.
Heavenly Father, I want to thank you that now I can call you Father, because now I am Your child and I
will be forever in Jesus' name."
If you prayed this prayer, there are three things that you should do next: First, get a modern translation
of the New Testament and read and study it. Second, find a group of people who know Jesus (you can
usually tell by the love they have for each other). Get to know them and learn from them; they can often
be found in churches, but some meet elsewhere. However, beware of cults (any group that denies that
Jesus is God Almighty come in flesh and died for us on the cross; cults usually have their own
translation of the Bible, too). third, pray to Jesus every day, and expect him to speak to you.
